What an inspiring milestone it was to bring the very first Scientists for Nature Challenge ‘A Quantum Leap for Biodiversity’ to life.
The Families for Nature Foundation together with The System Change Foundation and the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings, we were honoured and delighted to showcase six groundbreaking scientific initiatives dedicated to protecting and preserving global biodiversity.
This first edition drew remarkable attention and an impressive number of submissions from young scientists attending the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting as well as distinguished alumni.
Our finalists were selected by an esteemed Science Panel: Prof David Coomes from the University of Cambridge and Prof Nathalie Seddon from the University of Oxford who brought exceptional expertise and guidance to the evaluation process.
The finalists of the 2024 Scientists for Nature Challenge:
Congratulations to all finalists and sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to making this first edition of Scientists for Nature such a success, especially our science panel and The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings.
