Science Deep Dive Cambridge 2024

The Families for Nature Foundation had the great pleasure of hosting an inspiring Impact Circle at the University of Cambridge, bringing together leading scientists, entrepreneurs, and impact-driven funders to accelerate transformative science in the fields of biodiversity and climate.

Professor David Coomes welcomed us as at the Cambridge Conservation Initiative (CCI) and shared compelling insights on how machine learning and computational tools are being used to understand, map, and protect ecosystems under threat.

Dr Mike Rands, Master, hosted us at Darwin College for further presentations by leading scientists from around the University, including from the Centre of Climate Repair and its project "Refreeze the Arctic" which The Families for Nature Foundation proudly supports through two PhD studentships.
